“Sooner or later Chelsea will be there fighting for the titles, and I guess sooner than later.”

Guardiola sees Chelsea as one of the toughest opponents, acknowledging their good spirit, aggressiveness, and overall quality.

Despite Chelsea’s shaky start this season under new manager Mauricio Pochettino, Guardiola is confident they will improve. He mentions,

“Every manager needs his time – it’s a new club, new players but they’ll be a top contender because the quality in all departments is there.”

Guardiola also praises two former City players now with Chelsea, Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling. He congratulates Palmer for seeking more game time at Chelsea and is pleased to see him succeed.
